Shock…

Yes it’s me again. Like anyone realy reads blogs anymore.

Oh well..Here goes anyway.

So I looked up CPAP because I think my husband needs that machine to help him breathe at night. Well guess what?? That machine must be from the dark ages…some kind of torture devise for sure.

So note to all those who are so very creative, come on, you know you can do it; get that brain thinking and come up with a new design. People out there need it to breathe!!

cpapNow you see why the people who need this machine refuse to use it!

3:24 AM

All the persons in BEDVILLE liked sleeping a lot. But Janny, who lay there comfy, could not. Janny liked sleeping. The whole sleeping season. Now, please don’t ask why. No one quite knows the reason.

Yes we do! It’s the NOISE NOISE NOISE in her head …and the juice(steroids).

3:24 AM and sleep will not come. I tried to trick my body and brain and pretended to sleep until about 1:30. I finally got up and went to the easel to sketch. I drew two sketches that I will later paint. One is a design that I will paint on mugs later, too.
I went back to bed and tried again but because of the ‘juice’ I’m now looking for another quiet activity to keep me busy. Face book. Not really. I decided to write to my prayer warriors and say Thanks.

I NEVER thought I was anything like The Grinch. I’m not green and although we have about the same amount of hair, mine’s not green. Yet,,hee hee.
However, we do have something in common. My heart has grown three sizes, or more. It’s because it needed to grow to receive all the love you have shown. And it will continue to grow. It’s now so full of gratitude that I can’t even begin to express it.

Now with my thoughts full of …

Pop guns! And bicycles! Roller skates! Drums!
Checkerboards! Tricycles! Popcorn! And plums!
I’ll try once again to drift off to sleep
In comfy Bedville all snug and so deep
And pray for my pray-er chummy chum chums
Until, at last, I fall fast asleep.

God Bless us every one! (Oops wrong story)

Angelic hands

Hello family and friends,

I want to share with you just a little bit about God’s amazing work and the power of prayer. You all have been praying for me through this surgery and asking that either they find nothing or that they would get all the cancer and we have shared a little bit about that but I thought you would like to know exactly how the doctor described what he found on Monday during my surgery.

The mass on my right side was outside of the colon and about the size of a golf ball (not sure what’s up with my body and golf ball sized tumors.. hmm this was the second one now). He said this mass of cancer cells was totally..TOTALLY encapsulated…as inside a capsule (with a protective covering). He said, “It’s like your body used the lining of your abdomen to make a little protective covering around the bad cells to keep them from spreading”.  Yeah..An Angel’s hands…can do that!! God, you are so creative!

When he found this mass he was able to place a small baggie around it and pull it out in tact without touching the cancer cells to any other tissue or organs.

So let’s recap…a surgeon with a mission, guided by angelic hands, used a Ziploc baggie to snag my cancer. And the Bible says the Holy Spirit prays for us when we don’t know how to pray. I would have never thought of using a Ziploc bag but hey..technology these days is pretty advanced.

So Noddie didn’t have a clue what was coming his way and Polly P got a kick out the door so she’s not hanging around causing problems anymore.

WOW..God is GOOD…ALL The Time!

a friend

I want to share something …Yesterday I visited a sweet friend in San Antonio who has ALS. In the 18 months or so that I have known her I have seen her go from being able to walk but not have the use of her arms…not being able to feed herself or take care of other personal things on her on to now the only thing she can do is sit in her special chair that holds her head up and and nod her head a little. She can’t talk anymore. She has a special computer that allows her to move her eyes along a screen and pick out letters or words. Then the computer  will speak those sentences for her. This woman, with all that has happened to her in the last few months, was encouraging ME. She asked her husband to print out a list of healing verses to give to me. I was amazed. I was also very overwhelmed by the peace from God that showed on her face. Sometimes we doubt God or question Him about what’s going on in our lives or the lives of others we see suffering. We may not understand His plan but I believe He is walking with us through it all. And when we suffer and hurt I know God is as close as ever. He loves me and you. I hope that you all…everyone who reads this page has the same kind of relationship with God that I do. He is my Heavenly Father and He is taking care of me.

The hummingbird is a marvelous creature. I’m not going to bore you with details I’ve already listed here before. This post is just to let you know I’ll be home more now watching the hummingbirds outside my kitchen window. At least a few days anyway.

I’ve decided to stay home..not go back to work until after my doctor visit this Tuesday, Sept 16th. My mind is not at all on my work. So I’m not doing my job well.  And there is really no reason for me to be there if I can’t do my job well. It benefits no one.

So for the rest of this week through Monday I’ll just be hanging out at home and doing some of my favorite things..like watching the hummingbirds and making cards. Stop by if you want..or maybe we’ll go get some coffee together.

Thanks again for all your prayers.
